I bought two tickets in September for Take That at the MEN Arena on 22nd Dec., for 155. I became suspicious when I heard a friend of a friend had received her legit tickets about three weeks ago. I searched on here and thanks two the other guides, realised I had been had. I took the advice from the guides and called Grimsby Police, and they were very helpful indeed. They had over 100 people logged for this same scam (I was the third caller in a row the operator had had regarding this incident), and I was informed that it was now totalling over 20,000 worth of fraud, and that the specialist unit were investigating it. Therefore I urge anyone else who has been 'had' to contact Grimsby Police.
Many thanks to the other guides for pointing me in the right direction.
I must also add that I will now longer be using eBay ever again, due to their ridiculous rule on disputes having to be settled in 60 days. Most tickets are on sale well before the event takes place and so this really must not apply to ticket sales. They are only too happy to take the money they are owed, and provide very little support in trying to help the customer ( I lost 30 earlier in the year when a seller refused to return my e-mails and calls, eBay didn't want to know). IF EBAY DON'T WANT TO HELP YOU, THEN DON'T HELP THEM BY GIVING THEM YOUR MONEY.
