Tip for installing a LCD / Plasma TV wall bracket

Installing a 10inch to 37inch LCD/Plasma TV wall mounting bracket. This will make sure that you have a perfectly aligned LCD/Plasma TV wall bracket. Fitting TVs on walls especially in corners can be a tricky business. Even though you use a level, when the jobs complete, they can look as if they have not been mounted straight. This is whats known as an Optical illusion. The following paragraph explains on how to overcome this.

A handy tip is to fit the bracket to the wall in the chosen place using only one fixing bolt initially in the top of the bracket (1). Tighten this up so that the bracket can only just be rotated. Once this has been completed fit the back plate to the back of the TV screen. Now attach this back plate to the wall bracket. With this held in position, make slight adjustments to the wall mounted part of the bracket using a level. Finish off the alignment by eye; this means go to the position from where it will be mostly viewed and adjusts it until acceptable.Mark up the remaining holes to be drilled (2), remove the monitor back plate from the wall bracket. Take off the wall bracket and drill the remaining holes. Fix all the parts previously removed into position and include the additional bolts. Job Complete.
